Pointed dripstone is a block that forms stalactites and stalagmites.
Stalactites (which point downward) grow over time under certain conditions, can serve as falling projectiles, can renewably drip water and lava into cauldrons and convert mud into clay.
Stalagmites (which point upward) deal extra damage to players and mobs that land on them.
